We were commissioned by the Swedish National Road Administration to develop a pilot facility that is actually Sweden’s first autonomous VMS system for variable speed limits.  

This method of regulating and adapting vehicle speed according to the prevailing conditions, e.g. when buses stop at bus stops, is unique and completely new for Sweden.
“The system required an advanced technical solution and the demands from the National Road Administration were rigorous, so we put considerable effort into finding the right subcontractors,” explains Greger.

“We want our subcontractors and partners to be inventive and creative, while meeting our requirements for quality standards and management systems,” Greger continues.

“Our partnership with Elektro Logik stretches back ten years or so, and we are very satisfied with their ability to solve various problems. In this particular case, Elektro Logik has solved the problem of the software, as well as constructed, designed, programmed and put the system together based on our specifications.

Moreover, they’ve developed and further refined our basic specification of requirements in an innovative way.” adds Greger.
